Founded in 2023, The AI Spark emerged from a simple yet powerful idea: that artificial intelligence education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic background. What started as a small workshop in one community has grown into a national movement.
We strive to bridge the digital divide by providing free, high-quality AI education to underprivileged students. Our goal is to empower the next generation with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in an AI-driven world.
Rather than teach coding or advanced theory, The AI Spark uses simulation games, real-world demos of AI, and hands-on guided exercises that teach the basics of AI in an enjoyable way. Students learn how they can incorporate AI into everyday life.
Founder and President
Vikram Renganathan is the Founder and President of The AI Spark. He has extensive experience in both AI and education - as a researcher at the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute, Learning Assistant Mentor at Florida Atlantic University, Student Mayor of Parkland, volunteer coach at the North South Foundation, and intern at the Return on AI Institute.
We envision a world where AI literacy is universal, where every student has the opportunity to understand and shape the future of technology. By 2025, we aim to reach 1,000 students across 25+ states, creating a new generation of AI-literate innovators and leaders.
